Built as the Warren County Court House in the middle of the 19th century, Vicksburg's Old Court House Museum now celebrates the history of the region around Vicksburg. Divided into sections by focus, the museum studies pioneer life and Confederate history as well as displaying expensive antique furnishings from the 1800s and Americana antiques. A site of many famous trials, the historic building's courtroom has been preserved in its original style. One of the many historic structures that occupy Vicksburg, the court house is near downtown, just blocks from the river.
